As a component of the immune system, antibodies play an important role in resisting diseases. Antibody dependent cell mediated cytotoxicity (ADCC) is one of the ways in which antibodies play a role. When IgG antibody specifically binds to the surface epitopes of target cells (virus infected cells and tumor cells) through Fab segment, its FC segment can interact with FC γ R killer cells (NK cells, monocyte macrophages, neutrophils) and other effector cells combine to trigger the killing activity of effector cells and directly kill target cells (virus infected cells and tumor cells).
